Coping with life after Ronaldo wasn’t an easy job for Man Utd particularly against their old nemesis the Gooners. While they were lucky to win this match, they really lack the spark that Ronaldo provides time after time - moments of brilliance.

On the other hand, I thought they did pretty well against a in-form Arsenal side. Plenty of positives from Rooney, Giggs, Nani, Fletcher, Evra and Vidic. Valencia doesn’t look like his usual confident self though as he hesitates to pass the ball quickly or to take on players one-on-one.

I guess we can expect more from this United side in weeks to come as I think they are only on 2nd gear now at most.
