Cold cold weather…

The temperature in Seoul plunges by a few notches abruptly today, signalling the arrival of Winter. Average weather today is 0°c and for the next 2 days it will be sub-zero throughout the day! As I walked back to my hotel after work today, I noticed that many ppl (including me) were caught unprepared by this sudden drop in temperature with only a thin sweater.

Hopefully I get to see some snow before I return to Singapore at end of this week.

Infuriating yet funny!

I really wonder how on earth this Tajuddin Abdul Rahman asshole got voted in to the Parliament! This guy is totally disrespectful, thuggish, rude and unintelligent. He is not only kurang ajar, but langsung tidak pernah diajar! Watching his antics in parliament really really infuriates me…

However, it’s really funny the way YB Lim KS outwitted him in the end. Totally hilarious… muahahahaha!

RPK to be released!

In a stunning turn of events, the Shah Alam High Court has ruled that RPK’s 2-year detention under the ISA signed by Syed BOTAK is indeed illegal!

While this is bad news for MONGOLIA and ROSIE, it is great news of all Malaysians who despise such abuse of the repressive ISA law.

Quote from MalaysiaKini.com:
Syed Ahmad Helmy said there was no relevance for the minister to issue the order on Raja Petra on the basis of mala fide.Following this, the court finds there is a procedural non-compliance as stated under Section 8(1) of the ISA based on the minister’s affidavit.

“Hence the court finds the minister had acted ultra vires (beyond the powers) in issuing the detention order under the ISA section. For example, the minister cannot issue an order if a person had in bad faith decided to colour his hair red.”

Raja Petra’s lawyer Malik had during submissions before today’s decision said the court had the jurisdiction to scrutinise the detention order if it was made in bad faith.

“This is not a situation like Jemaah Islamiyah or communists. This is just a man whom the government thinks can bring it down to its knees,” the counsel had said during submission.

This implied that Syed BOTAK has abused his power - illegal detention! The big question now is whether any action can be taken against Syed BOTAK? Well, he is an UMNO goon after all, and we know that UMON goons are “above” the law!

Welcome back RPK! Boy, I really look forward to read about your experience in Kamunting and what your next course of action would be.
